How to set up the architecture for industrial data collection (2)

Wind power generation solution

Today, following yesterday’s content, we will share a dedicated data acquisition module that uses the physical signals of on-site objects. After the sensors convert the physical signals into electrical signals, the dedicated data acquisition module converts the electrical signals into readable digital quantities through an A/D analog-to-digital converter or digital circuit in the analog circuit.

Principles of Wind Power Generation

The form of dedicated data acquisition modules may be data acquisition boards, embedded data acquisition systems, etc. For automated equipment or robots, if certain data of concern is missing and cannot be directly obtained from their general controllers, sensors can be installed in conjunction with dedicated data acquisition modules to complete more dimensional data collection.

Case Study: Wind Power Generation System

Wind power generation control system

Wind turbines use force sensors to achieve real-time online monitoring of the stress state of the wind turbine concrete, providing a basis for evaluating the bearing capacity of the wind turbine concrete foundation. At the same time, acceleration sensors are used to collect vibration signals. During the operation of the wind power generation system, real-time online monitoring of the vibration status is carried out and detection information is sent. Based on the detection information, the operation status of the wind turbine is effectively controlled to avoid structural failure caused by resonance, and safety warnings are given for vibrations exceeding the amplitude threshold. Install and fix the force sensor and acceleration sensor on the fan, and connect the sensor output to the input of a dedicated data acquisition module. The dedicated data acquisition module uploads the data to a local or remote server through the network for further data analysis and visualization.
