Water quality analysis ORP (oxidation reduction potential) sensors are important devices used to measure the redox capacity of water. ORP sensors determine the redox potential of water by measuring the potential difference between an electrode and a reference electrode. This potential difference reflects the relative strength of oxidants and reductants in water, thus allowing the redox state of the water to be assessed.
